Made in 1936 on a 1 - 1/2 Frame with matted rib and twin ivory beads which have usual Meriden rib legend. Made with 26" Vulcan steel barrels. Barrel flats with proof marks and marked "SKEET IN / SKEET OUT". Large beavertail forend checkered in point pattern with zig zag border engraved Deeley release. Case hardened action is zig zag border engraved and engraved "Parker" on bottom. Made with single selective trigger, auto ejectors, and non-auto safety. Made with straight grip buttstock which is checkered in point pattern through the wrist with nickel shield near toe and terminates with its original checkered butt. CONDITION: Excellent overall. Barrels retain about 98% original blue. Forend is excellent with a grain separation at breech end iron. The action retains about 85%+ bright original case colors. Trigger guard retains about 30% of its original blue, mostly toned at bow, stronger at tang. Buttstock is very good, retains most of its original finish with some finish added for preservation, and with a period repair at toe that measures 2" long. Bores are brilliant and shiny, mechanics are crisp. These 12 bore skeet guns are hard to source and this one is particularly strong. PROVENANCE: From the Carl Balderson Jr. Estate Collection, purchased from Jack Puglisi in 2003. JSL
