Made in 1935 on a No. 1 frame with 28" Vulcan steel barrels which have matted game rib and Meriden barrel legend with steel front bead. Beavertail forend checkered in point pattern with border engraved Deeley release. Made with Parker single selective trigger, auto ejectors, auto safety. Case colored action is engraved with zig zag border pattern and engraved "PARKER" on bottom of frame. Capped pistol grip buttstock is checkered in two point pattern through the wrist with small nickel shield towards toe and terminates with its original dog's head buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine. Barrels retain about 98% original blue. Action retains more than 90% bold original case color with some speckling on bottom and left side, right side is particularly vivid, but overall with great luster. Trigger guard retains virtually all of what appears to be its original blue though could be a masterful restoration. Buttstock and forend retain more than 97% original finish with light handling marks and minor impressions. Though the PGCA Letter indicates straight grip buttstock, we feel certain that the butt on this gun is undoubtedly the original factory work. Bores are brilliant and shiny, mechanics are crisp. This is a rare Parker with several special features worthy of an advanced collection. PROVENANCE: From the Carl Balderson Jr. Estate Collection. PGCA Letter. JSL
CORRETION: It has been notice that the left ejector does not stay cocked, the dolls heads has had a repair and the there is a tiny patch of roughness at the front of the muzzle of the left barrel.
