Ca. 2000. Nice 12 gauge with 28" solid machined concave rib barrels with round steel front bead sight. Barrels are also fit for side clips, extended top rib for cross bolt and standard markings and German proofs, 3" chambers with ejectors. The coined finished scalloped boxlock action is fitted side clips and a Greener styled bolt locking mechanism, top lever, set disk strikers, cocking indicators and auto safe. The coin finished action is engraved with game scenes of birds in fields and scrolls. The left side is signed "GL". Single inertia trigger with integral barrel selector. Nicely figured walnut stock with English straight grip, sharp checkering and black Pachmayer rubber pad and long bottom tang. Checkered forearm with Deeley styled release. With original Merkel takedown box. CONDITION: Excellent overall with 97% original blue finish and a few light handling marks. Wood is also excellent with scattered small dings and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good. CP
