Blued 30” barrels with brass front bead on concave game rib, 7/8” barrel panels. Right barrel with “CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN MFG. NEW BRITAIN CT. USA”, rib with “RESERVE”, left barrel with “RBL - 28ga. 2 3/4””. Action flats stamped with serial number and “IMP CYL” on both sides of lump. RBL proof on right side lump. Beavertail forend with Anson release, gold washed ejector tumbler and cocking rods. Vibrant case color hardened frame with vignettes of German Shorthair pointer and Springer Spaniel supported by scroll on right and left, bottom has vignette of grouse in flight through a field also supported by scroll, bottom also has “RBL-28”. Flats with serial number on right side and left side with “MADE IN USA MODEL RBL / CONNECTICUT SHOTGUN MFG. / NEW BRITAIN, CONN.” Double beaded trigger guard with full length tang to a border engraved blue finish grip cap. Gold wash single selective inertia trigger with barrel selector button through trigger. Auto safe with “SAFE” and light scrollwork on top tang. CSMC Prince of Wales grip. Feather crotch walnut stock with point checkering pattern ending in a 7/8” Pachmayr decelerator pad. Canvas CSMC case with two part cleaning rod, oil bottle, brush, mop, snap cap, ear plugs, CSMC shooting glasses, and original serrated hard plastic buttplate numbered to gun. CONDITION: Barrel with some rub marks where forend meets barrel and some minor blue wear to muzzle, a few minor handling marks. Minor markings to forearm. Various small handling marks throughout buttstock. Action works appropriately when operated by hand, bores are bright and clean. CP
