Sweet 16 bore side by side with two sets of barrels. 28” and 26” Von Lengerke 1& Detmold of New York marked barrels with machined concave extended rib, side clips, front and middle round bead sights, and ejectors. The coin finished side plate boxlock action is nicely engraved with large floral scroll and fitted with a Greener style cross bolt, side clips, top lever, safety slide, double triggers, and auto safe. Sideplate engraved “A. Francotte Maker & Patentee Leige Belgium”. Beautiful walnut stock with semi round knob pistol grip with fine checkering, orange rubber pad, and gold oval with the initials “JHN” engraved. Matching forearm is finely checkered with Anson push button release. CONDITION: Very good. Both sets of barrels retain approximately 95% original blue with some usage and storage marks. Barrels are stamped for 2 - 1/2" cartridges, butt measure for 2 - 3/4". Action appears to be very good. Stock in very good condition with some handling and storage marks. CP
