Introduced 1915. Produced for the British government with a total procurement of 59,150 guns. Chambered originally for the .455 service cartridge with a 6-1/2" blue barrel with case colored hammer and trigger, and checkered walnut grips with gold medallions. This example has the British crown marking on butt over the number 30. No additional British proofs are evident. Revolver has been re-chambered to the .45 Long Colt cartridge. Matching numbers on barrel, frame, and cylinder with no numbers on grips. CONDITION: Good with excellent bore and modified chambers. Gun retains over 75% blue finish with slight holster wear to barrel and edges of cylinder flutes. Action operates properly. TDW
