Lot contains: (A) Pre-WWII Hirschfaenger with a 11" heavily polished blade, with an illegible maker mark. Second smaller dagger is missing. Nickel plated steel fittings retain 95+% of their finish with an excellent condition Stag grip. Black leather scabbard retains 45-45% with heavy damage and flaking. Nickel plated steel fittings retain 90+% of their finish. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Pre-WWII Hirschfaenger with a 13" triple-etched "MOHR & SPEYER, BERLIN" marked blade with very light freckling. Brass fittings retain 85-90% of their gilt finish. White celluloid grips with three gilt acorns are near mint. Black leather scabbard retains 30-35% of its finish, and brass fittings retain 85+% of their gilt finish. CONDITION: Excellent plus. (C) 19th Century Hirschfaenger with a 16" triple-etched, with very faint etching remaining. Blade has a faint marking of two squirrels, which might indicate the maker as "Eickhorn". Blade has scattered marks and very light freckling throughout. Steel fittings retains leas than 5% of their gilt finish, and Stag grip with three brass acorns are excellent. Black leather scabbard retains 85-90% of its finish, and while the lower steel fitting retains 90+% of its nickel plating, the upper steel fitting has less than 10%. CONDITION: Excellent. WZ
