Crude flintlock half round half octagon smoothbore barrel with front blade sight. Flintlock marked with "elephant and castle" and "WARRANTED" and controlled by a crude single trigger. Walnut full stock with iron furniture. Iron ramrod. These guns were made for trade in Africa and the Middle East. CONDITION: Overall well used patina with repaired wrist. Areas of discolor from possible leather or wire wrapping. Good mechanics. Great trade piece or wall hanger. DLM
