Standard configuration P.38, marked "byf/ 44" on the left side of the slide. Proper "Eagle / 135" inspectors marks. Brown Bakelite grips. "Eagle / 359" inspected magazine in the gun and a "jvd" marked magazine in the holster. The holster itself is very interesting. It is a converted World War I French revolver holster which has been modified for use with an FN Browning Hi-Power. The inside of the holster has the original 1918 ink stamp. The rear of the holster is marked with an Eagle/ "Mg.10". This marking is the forerunner of the HZa inspectors proof found on World War II Browning P.35 Hi-Power pistols. CONDITION: Retains 70% finish overall. All markings are clear. Grips are fine with light handling marks. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Fine mechanical function. Holster is solid with strong stitching. GR
