Manufactured 1917. Colt New Service large frame double action revolver chambered for .45 Colt. Six shot with 5-1/2" barrel with fixed sights. Two piece Colt checkered hard rubber grips. Fitted with factory lanyard swivel. Grips are internally marked with what appears to be a Ranch marking of "HYS" and the name "W.S. Marsden 1919" on the underside of the right grip. CONDITION: Very fine with most all (97%) of the factory blue finish remaining with a slight amount of loss on the grip straps. The bore and chambers are excellent. The action locks up tight and operates properly. A very fine New Service. TDW
