Serial number 587626. Eagle "N" proofed blue finish Model 1934 chambered for .32 ACP/7.65mm. Identified as the third variation of the Kriegsmarine Mauser pistol by Jan Still on page 169 of his "Axis Pistols" book. Front strap is marked "N8427". One piece checkered wood grips. Matching numbers found on frame slide and barrel. Magazine is commercial pattern with Mauser banner marking and no inspection or proofs. It is estimated by Jan Still that 6,000 of these were procured and issued. CONDITION: Very good with over 90% factory blue remaining. Finish loss at edges of slide and slight corrosion on trigger guard. Varnish ore is excellent and action operates properly. Gun is housed in a period brown stitch commercial flap holster with spare magazine. Holster condition is poor as it is missing strap and stitching is loose. TDW
