American, 1936-1939. All-composition doll designed by Dewees Cochran, fully marked EffanBee U.S. America on back of head. Desirable painted brown eyes with tiny painted upper and lower eyelashes, closed mouth, blonde human hair wig with bangs (may have been cut a little), perfect individual fingers, original Effanbee metal heart bracelet. Original red plaid jumper and matching hat, blouse and panty combo, shoes and replaced socks.
