Lot consists of: (A) Parker Brothers Grade 2 hammer top lever gun made in 1882. Damascus steel barrels with smooth concave rib and bead front sight. Case hardened engraved action with double triggers, extractors and silver tang shield. Fine engraving with sitting bird and scroll work. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Parker hard rubber buttplate marked with name, flying bird, and "Trapgun". Walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: Vivid Damascus pattern visible on barrels with good bores. 70% original case colors with carry wear. Stock has had an extra coat of varnish and has small area of damage on left grip near end of tang. Nice tight vintage Parker. (B) Parker Grade 2 hammer gun with "Fishtail" top lever made in 1888. Damascus steel barrels with matted rib and bead front sight. Case hardened frame with bird and scroll engraving. Double triggers, extractors, and tang shield. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with Parker Dog's Head hard rubber buttplate. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: Barrels have visible Damascus pattern turning to a silvery patina. 20% original case with carry wear. 10% original varnish with carry wear. Good bores and gun locks up tight with good mechanics. PROVENANCE: From the Carl Balderson Jr. Estate Collection. DLM
