Lot consists of: (A) Plant Front Loading Pocket Pistol. Built by Plant's Manufacturing Company New Haven Connecticut for Eagle Arms Co. New York. Fires a .30 caliber cup-primed cartridge. Blued 3-1/2" ribbed octagon barrel. 6 shot front loading cylinder. Brass frame with silver plating, square but with 2 piece rosewood grips. Made in the mid-1860s, approximately 20,000 produced. CONDITION: Excellent with 85% thinning original blue on barrel. 90% thinning original blue on cylinder. 70-75% original silver on frame. Rosewood grips are excellent showing minimum wear. Bore is fine with modest abrasion. (B) James Warner Pocket Model Revolver. Second model with 3" round barrel. Made between 1857-late 1860s, approximately 9,500 total produced. .28 caliber 5 shot cylinder. Scalloped frame with 2 piece varnished walnut grips. Blued barrel and cylinder. Silver plated iron frame. CONDITION: Excellent overall with 30-40% original blue on barrel mixed with brown patina. Approximately 80% original blue on cylinder. 15-20% original silver on frame mixed with patina. Grips are fine showing moderate wear. Bore is near fine, turning dark with scattered abrasion. (C) Sharps Pepperbox Pistol, Second Model. .30 caliber rimfire. 3" barrel, 2 piece checkered Gutta Percha grips. Blue finish. CONDITION: Good overall, with traces of original blue. Action is loose. Grips are fine showing modest wear. bores are dark. (D) Sharps Pepperbox Pistol, First Model. .22 caliber. 2 - 1/2" barrel. Walnut grips. CONDITION: Completely refinished with nickel plated frame, blued barrel and hammer. Bores are dark. Grips show modest wear. -MKS-
