Manufactured immediately after the German surrender of World War II and produced for commercial sale to occupation troops. 9mm 4" barrel with Krieghoff marked toggle. Serial number 160 on left side of upper and front of frame. Commercial Krieghoff blue finish with straw finished appointments. Krieghoff Eagle proofs on barrel, upper, frame and virtually all small components but without war time Eagle "N" proofs. Fitted with Krieghoff course checkered brown plastic grips. Extremely low production with estimates ranging from 200 to 300. Extruded blue steel magazine with black synthetic base and serial 160 engrave on spine. CONDITION: Extremely fine and possibly unfired since proof. 99% of commercial blue finish remains. Bore is pristine and straw is as new. Grips are equally fine and without distress. As with all Krieghoff Luger pistols the quality is unsurpassed and evidenced by the amount of time spent proof marking all parts to an extreme. TDW
CORRECTION: Pistol has been refinished and restored, has also been renumbered with all markings enhanced and reapplied.
