Manufactured by DWM for domestic consumption and chambered for 9mm. Commercial Model 1906 with 4" barrel, blue finish, grip safety and produced without stock lug. Deep commercial rust blue finish with straw finished appointments. Checkered walnut grips with fire blue screws. Very limited production with even fewer ever making their way to the United States as the American Eagle was already in production and being offered by numerous retailers in the same caliber. Pistol is housed in a proper commercial leather clamshell holster with spare magazine, cleaning rod, loading tool and cleaning jag. Pistol is all matching and is commercially proofed Crown "N". Script DWM on toggle with commercial serial number 53906 on frame front and bottom of barrel. Small parts are found to be all matching. Magazines are commercial and without numbers on bases. CONDITION: Very fine over 98% of the blue finish remaining on barrel and frame. Bore is excellent bright and shiny. Grips are excellent with evidence of a marking have been done in interior of left grips. Holster is very fine with very slight scuffing. Stitching is sold. Spare magazine has a repaired crack in base. A very fine example of a very uncommon DWM Commercial 1906 Luger. TDW
