This is an early production flat side large ring commercial broomhandle Mauser pistol. Has the original matching stock. Manufactured around 1900. These were very popular guns among British officers during the Boer Wars. All matching numbers including the stock. CONDITION: Retains 35% original blue with a pleasing patina overall. All markings are clear. Wood grips are very good with some wear. Bore is dark and worn with pitting. Good mechanical function. Stock has some dings and handling marks, has some old period repaired cracks. All in all a solid example of an early production Broomhandle. GR
