In the correct range for a pre-War National Match. Thick half moon front sight, bevelled square notch rear sight. Two line Colt patent and address information, right side with "NATIONAL MATCH // COLT // AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE .45 // (Rampant Colt)". Numbered to slide under firing pin retaining plate. Barrel marked "45 AUTO" on lower left side of breech, MP in a circle on left lug. "G" on top of bridle. Checkered spurred hammer, left side only safety, short trigger, slide release, and magazine release. Knurled arched mainspring housing. Fully checkered walnut grips. Two tone two rivet magazine. Accompanied by a Colt Service Model conversion unit with floating chamber in box with manual in lid, magazine, slide release, recoil spring, extractor, barrel, and slide with adjustable rear sight and high ramp fixed front sight. CONDITION: Good. Frame and slide subjected to an aggressive chemical cleaning that has left areas of oxidation and is essentially void of any finish. Small parts with significant amounts of blue left. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore with strong rifling, and oxidation in grooves. Conversion kit is very good with some minor spots of age patination, bore is excellent with strong rifling. EW
