Lot consists of: (A) Very early factory nickel finished Model 1891 .22 single shot target pistol with 8" barrel and still retaining recoil shield on frame. Paine target blade front sight with adjustable rear sight. Serial number 1159 found on butt and under barrel latch. 2-piece factory extended gutta percha target grips with Smith & Wesson logo. CONDITION: Very fine with over 90% factory nickel finish remaining on barrel and frame retaining over 98% finish with area under grips having tarnished. Grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Bore is excellent and action operates properly. (B) Smith & Wesson 3rd Model Perfected Target single shot target pistol. 10" barrel with matching serial number found under locking latch, Paine target front sight with adjustable rear sight. Fitted with 2-piece checkered walnut extension grips that are numbered in pencil on interior. Pistol comes with a fitted S.D. Meyers russet leather holster with large brass snap. CONDITION: Very fine with over 95% of the factory blue finish remaining with some small scratches from use. The bore is excellent. The action operates properly. Holster is very good with supple leather and solid stitching. TDW
