Manufactured in 1965, this is one of the last Model 42's made. It shows very little use. Single silver bead front sight, takedown pump action with plain wood stocks. CONDITION: Metal retains approximately 96% of the original factory applied blue finish, with just a bit of slight wear on the magazine tube. The wood stocks retain virtually all of the original factory applied finish. They are proud to metal. The fit and finish on this gun is outstanding. Composite buttplate is mint. Bright and shiny bore. This spectacular gun comes in the factory original box that is numbered to the gun. Inside the box it has the trigger hang tag, brochure, and wax paper. PROVENANCE: From the Carl Balderson Jr. Estate Collection. REW
