Lot consists of (A) Cased Tranter seven shot .22 revolver with nickel finish and checkered walnut grips. Single action design with spur trigger. Serial number 133 on rear of cylinder and loading gate. Marked on left side of frame "TRANTER PATENT 10006" with British proofs on barrel and cylinder. Diminutive Tranter revolver is cased in contemporary case with modern advertising broadboard in lid. CONDITION: Very fine as possibly period refinished. Grips are excellent. Action operates properly Bore is moderately dark with strong rifling. (B) Werner patent Single action revolver in .320 caliber with seven shot cylinder and unique encapsulated ejector rod assembly. 4 - 1/2" octagon barrel with scroll engraving at muzzle and breech. solid frame engraved in circulating scrolls and silver washed. Checkered walnut two piece grips with gold washed butt cap. Serial number 7 is found on face of cylinder and on frame beneath grips. CONDITION. Good, with traces of silver wash finish in protected areas of frame. Barrel retains 80% original blue finish while missing front sight and having small dings at edges of flats. Grips are very fine. Action operates properly however cylinder fails to lock-up. Bore is frosted with visible rifling. TDW
