Lot consists of: (A) Belgian proofed brass octagon cannon barreled muff pistol of .50 caliber, with spring loaded triangular bayonet mounted beneath barrel. Mounted with nicely carved and checkered walnut grip. Engraved with traditional English pineapple motif. CONDITION: Very good with brass being a even aged mustard color Bayonet operates and locks properly. Action operates properly. A minor chip exist to rear of tang in wood grip otherwise very fine. (B) Ryan & Son superimposed flintlock muff pistol with Tap action. Maker fitted with a spring operated triangular bayonet. London marked and engraved in a patriotic motif of "Stands Of Arms" on both sides. Fitted with a straight grained walnut grip with silver shield on comb. CONDITION: Very fine with all actions functioning. The gun has attained an even aged patina and is without cleaning. TDW
