Standard Smith and Wesson 5906 with three dot tritium sights, ambidextrous tumbler safeties, smooth trigger and one piece grips. At some point, someone had this gun extensively engraved on nearly every surface with florals and flowing tendrils. Intermixed with the tendrils is are a variety of vigenettes including, across the top of the slide, a prowling panther; at rear of beavertail, a beret and knife; "U.S. ARMY" on right side of frame; underside of frame with "VIET-NAM" in ribband over the toothed MACV-SOG emblem and "SOG"; bottom of front strap with a caricature of a Vietnamese man. "T" and "Z" on bottom of magazine well. CONDITION: Fine as aftermarket engraved. Date of work and engraver unknown, as work is not signed. Otherwise retains majority of finish.
