Manufactured 1989, Serial #SA03330 and SA03323, .45 Colt, 7 - 1/2" barrels with bright, excellent, likely unfired bores. The barrels, cylinders and frame straps all retain 99% plus rich Doug Turnbull-applied blue with identical vibrant color case-hardening shipped from Turnbull 02/04/97 on the screwless frames and hammers. The revolvers are overall embellished with lovely flowing scroll accented by background punch-dot shading and geometric checkerboard engraving on the barrels and back straps. There are lovely 18 karat gold bands with foliate engraving at the muzzles and on the rear of the cylinders. Each revolver has matching 18 karat gold inlays on barrel, recoil shield and top of grip frame depicting a longhorn steer head, Native American brave's head (very buffalo nickel-like) and a somewhat Paladin-like horsehead. Each revolver is flawlessly fitted with a smooth one-piece ivory grip, each inlaid with an engraved gold bald eagle on its left upper edge. CONDITION: The guns are, of course, unfired, unturned since leaving Mr. Adams shop. They come cased in an EPI glass-top display case with a burgundy baize lining and lovely engraved turn screws with ivory handles, dust brush, cleaning rod and ivory oil bottle. Engraved by Mr. John Adams Sr., master Colt engraver and world renowned for his artistry. Front of each frame is signed J Adams on the radius below the base pin. Truly stunning and very beautiful examples of this very sought-after craftsmans work on two pinless-frame examples of this iconic American revolver. TDW
