DST. An excellent example of this early sign from Polarine Motor Oil. Side one shows excellent color & gloss, with a super clean field and excellent can graphic. Side one shows some minor surface scratches, but the graphic is extremely clean and the flange is in excellent condition. Side two also shows excellent color & gloss, with some areas of paint scratching and paint loss at the right and lower side. The can graphic is in excellent condition, and although it shows some wear on side two, the sign would be tough to improve upon. Sign is Maker Marked Chas. W. Shonk Co. Chicago.
