Made for our consignor in 1970 as a three barrel set in 20 bore, 28 bore and .410 bore with raised matted ribs and are marked in gold at breech ends with Roman numerals "I", "II", and "III". Each barrel set with its own beavertail forend which is checkered in point pattern and has engraved steel tips with gold inlaid numbers corresponding to the barrel set number. Bottoms of barrels with choke markings and maker info. At the center of each barrel set is a naked Greek God inlaid in gold. The action is beautifully deep relief engraved with floral pattern and mythical creatures in full coverage with makes name on bottom of side plates "Fabio Zanotti". Made with gold plated single selective trigger, auto ejectors, and non-auto safety. The engraving is signed by F. Iora on the right side of the trigger plate. Trigger guard is floral engraved with serial number at tang. The beautifully figured round knob pistol grip buttstock is checkered in a point pattern with tear drop behind action, has small Monte Carlo and terminates with a thin red pad. Original owners initials "JRB" in gold in Monte Carlo. Housed in a full leather case with green felt interior that has brass appointments and makers label on top. CONDITION: Extremely fine and near mint. Gun appears very lightly field used with only the most minute handling marks visible. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are crisp, though the gun could use a strip and clean for old oil gumming. Ejectors are in time. Case is very good with minor rubs. The quality of the engraving on this gun is incredible!
