Lot consists of: (A) Springfield 1834 dated 1816 flintlock musket. .69 caliber with 42" barrel; lock and barrel dates matching. Metal remains lightly cleaned and in the white. CONDITION: Good as reconverted to flint from percussion with minor material loss to rear of lock. Pitted cock screw and void of flash hole. Attractive overall with stained stock with 2 cartouches. Reproduction rod. (B) Starr Model 1816 flintlock with 1832 dated barrel and lock. Bright steel barrel, lock and hardware. CONDITION: Good as reconverted from percussion to flint with lightly sanded stocks and attractive, nearly indiscernible conversion. Action operates properly reproduction rod. TDW
