Lot consists of: (A) Manufactured 1892. Springfield 1888 Trapdoor rifle, caliber .45-70 with ramrod bayonet, solid 1-piece trigger guard, and Buffington sight. 1-piece walnut stock with "SWP 1892" cartouche. Trap buttplate and 3-position tumbler. CONDITION: Good with good bore. Stock lightly cleaned with additional finish added. Barrel breech and hardware are even patina finish and action operates properly. (B) Manufactured 1886. Springfield 1884 Cadet Trapdoor, caliber .45-70 with Buffington sight, 2-piece trigger guard, 2-position tumbler, and solid buttplate. 1-piece walnut stock with traces of cartouche. CONDITION: Fair with dark bore, action operates properly. Stock has several minor chips around lock but is quite solid. (C) Original manufactured 1887 custom Springfield Trapdoor carbine, caliber .45-70 with shortened barrel, ramp based globe front sight, and extended folding tang sight for Savage 99. Custom blue finish on metal with case colored breech. Originally produced as a rifle now a custom hunting carbine. CONDITION: Excellent with custom modifications and finish. Bore is excellent and action operates properly. TDW
