This is one of the guns which were not marked by the manufacturer. Simply features a winged American eagle on the lock over "US". The barrel has "US./ (oval with eaglehead and CT)/ V". There is an additional "V" mark on the barrel tang. Traces of a three line cartouche on the left side of the stock. Ramrod is marked "US". CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned to bright with areas of light pitting. Markings are good. Wood has been lightly refinished and has dings and handling marks. Good mechanical function. Ramrod is jammed in. GR
