Civil War period British Enfield with 1860 dated Tower marked percussion lock fitted with Snider breechloading conversion. British proofed rifled barrel with flip rear sight and blade front. Walnut wood stock with iron barrel bands and brass trigger guard and rack numbered brass buttplate. Unique shell inlay on top of tang. Original steel ramrod. CONDITION: Metal fading to gray with light pitting. Wood has heavy usage marks with chips missing at butt. Good mechanics with dark, but shootable bore. DLM
