Manufactured 1941. Straight stocked Skeet Model 42 with 26" skeet choked solid rib barrel with 3" chamber. Two piece straight grained American walnut stocks with checkered wrist and forearm. Hard rubber checkered buttplate with Winchester monogram in center. Matching serial numbers found on receiver and bottom of barrel bolster. CONDITION: Very fine with over 98% of the factory blue finish remaining with losses contained to edge wear at muzzle and magazine tube from light operational use. The stocks are exceptional with several minor impressions and bruises with finish remaining excellent. Buttplate shows no wear or distress. Action is smooth and has solid lockup. A wonderful 1941 production Pre-War Model 42 Skeet. TDW
