Both revolvers, serial numbers 2616 and 551, are S&W New Model Number Three Target revolvers. Manufactured between 1887-1910. Nickel plated, with 6 - 1/2" ribbed barrels featuring pinned partridge style front and adjustable rear target sights. Chambered in .32-44 S&W cartridge. Square butts with two piece black hard rubber grips, checkered with diamonds and S&W monograms. Custom engraved with floral motifs and punch dot backgrounds. Engraver or date of engraving is unknown. Housed is a custom oak case fitted in the partition style. CONDITION: Fine overall. Both revolvers are completely refinished, custom engraved, with approximately 98% of the reapplied nickel plating remaining. Revolver serial number 551 has a replaced front sight. Barrel address on revolver serial number 2616 has been completely buffed off. Origin of custom case is unknown. Bores are fine. Actions operate correctly. -MKS-
