1876 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver with 12" barrel. Serial number (spurious) 27917 on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. No visible serial numbers on cylinder or barrel. Originally blue with case hardened frame and hammer. Chambered in .45 LC. Brass, detachable skeleton buttstock. One piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Good overall. Barrel is a custom made replacement. Detachable stock is a reproduction. No original finishes are remaining. Overall metal is a grey patina with scattered freckling. Bore is excellent and bright. Action is tight and crisp. Grips show moderate wear with rounded edges, section of wood missing on right side at the frame. -MKS-
