Lot consists of: (A) Manufactured 1884. Springfield 1884 Trapdoor rifle. Caliber .45-70 with Buffington rear sight and cleaning rod. Case colored breech dated 1873, with a trace of inspectors cartouche on the 1-piece walnut stock. CONDITION: Good with exterior being patina with crisp marking and action operates properly. Bore is dirty but should clean. Stock is fair with chipping around lock. (B) Manufactured 1884. Springfield Trapdoor Cadet rifle with pattern 1879 sight. Caliber .45-70 with 29-1/2" barrel with wiping rod. 1-piece stock without inspections. Buttplate is solid. CONDITION: Good with most all finish on barrel. Breech is dated 1873 and retains most all case colors. Stock is very good and correct with out inspections. Action operates properly. Bore is good but dirty. TDW
