Lot consists of: (A) British Tower marked Enfield with Snider conversion dated 1870. Blued rifled barrel with blade front sight and rear ladder adjustable sight. Snider patent cartridge conversion using Tower percussion lock. Walnut stock with 3 iron bands and iron hardware and steel ramrod. Comes with chained firing pin protector. CONDITION: Metal parts turning to a plum color. Wood has been sanded and cleaned. Good bore and mechanics. (B) British Enfield Calvary Carbine with Snider cartridge conversion. Blued round rifled carbine length barrel with blade front sight and flip rear ladder sight. Snider conversion with "BSA & MCo" marked lock dated 1875 with "Crown GP" marking at rear of lock. Walnut carbine style stock with 1 iron band and brass hardware, and saddle ring stud at base of trigger guard tang. CONDITION: Metal worn to a silvery patina with carry wear. Stock has usage marks and carry wear with good bore and mechanics. DLM
