Serrated slope front sight, square notch rear sight, with P stamp on top of slide. USS logo and "U.S. & S. CO. / SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A." on left. Visible slide tempering line towards front and around slide catch. Barrel with P on left side of lug and HS on right. Frame with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" over serial number, "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY", P proof on right with very light RCD inspection. Checkered slide release, magazine release, hammer, arched mainspring housing with lanyard loop, and short stamped trigger. Keyes grips. Magazine with L on lip of base plate. CONDITION: Fine, retaining the vast majority of its Du-Lite finish with some scattered handling marks and silvering at high edges and some reciprocating areas. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with sharp lands and grooves and some light evidence of use. Magazine is is very good with some handling marks and old oxidation. EW
