Colt .22 rimfire open top revolver. Seven shot non-fluted cylinder. 2 - 3/8" barrel. Nickel plated. Spur trigger. Birds head butt, with varnished two piece walnut grips. Manufactured from 1871-1877 for a total production of approximately 114,000. Complete with a rarely seen original, red with pink label, two piece Colt box. Graphics read "COLT'S/SEVEN SHOT PISTOL/.22 CALIBRE/FOR LONG OR SHORT CARTRIDGES". CONDITION: Revolver is fine overall with 90+% original nickel on the frame. The cylinder has flaked with approximately 5-10% original nickel remaining. The barrel has flaked at the muzzle and breech with approximately 15% original nickel remaining. Grips are excellent showing modest wear to the high edges. The bore is fine with modest abrasions. The original box is excellent with bright graphics. Edges and corners show moderate tattering. -MKS-
