Made by James Reid, Catskill, New York between 1870-1882 for a total production of approximately 3,100 in .32 caliber. Five shot. Nickel plated brass frame with scroll engraving. Left side of frame top strap marked: "MY FRIEND PATD. DEC.26, 1865". Housed in a period, fitted, burl walnut case with purple interior. CONDITION: Revolver is excellent overall with 85-90% original nickel on the frame. 90-95% original nickel on the cylinder. Bores are excellent. Action is tight and crisp. Case is near excellent with multiple chips to the corners and edges. Interior is excellent plus however, relined. -MKS-
