1928 vintage Model 1892 Saddle Ring Carbine. Full blue finish. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Carbine style steel buttplate. 20" barrel and magazine tube. Chambered in desirable .44-40 cartridge. Standard fold down ladder carbine rear and blade front sights. CONDITION: Very fine with 90-95% original blue on barrel and tube with light scattered freckling. Receiver is mostly a grey/brown patina with traces of original blue. Wood is excellent, showing modest wear. Bore is bright and clean. Action is tight and crisp. From the Carl Balderson Jr. Estate Collection. -MKS-
