Frame and trigger guard show serial number 71976, indicating 1881 production. Full nickel plated, with 12" barrel. Chambered in .45 LC. 2 piece black plastic grips, checkered with Rampant Colt and eagle motifs. The barrel, cylinder, hammer, cylinder pin, ejector rod housing, and grips are modern 2nd or 3rd generation replacement parts. The frame has been ground flat, removing Colt patent dates. CONDITION: Fully restored and refinished with 98+% reapplied nickel remaining. Bore is near mint. Action is tight and crisp. -MKS-
