Manufactured by DWM during World War I. Receiver is stamped "1917" over the chamber with DWM proofs on the right side. Toggle has been replaced and is marked with the Erfurt monogram. German Reichsadler is present on the right side of the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. Matching numbers include the frame, trigger, trigger sideplate, locking bolt safety, receiver, trigger bar, barrel, and rear sight. Breechblock, firing pin, toggles, and extractor do not match, but match each other. Checkered walnut grips are unmarked. Metal components have been refinished. Complete with matching flat board shoulder stock. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their reapplied blue finish, showing small areas of wear and some small areas of pitting underneath the finish. Bore is bright and retains strong rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips show some scattered indentations and smoothing around the edges. Flat board shoulder stock shows scattered dings and handling marks. MLW
