Manufactured 1980. Serrated slope front sight, square notch rear sight. Right side slide with "COLT'S GOVERNMENT MODEL", left with "COLT'S MK IV/SERIES 70 / GOVERNMENT MODEL / .45 AUTOMATIC CALIBER" with rampant colt adjacent. Barrel with "COLT .45 AUTO/ MK. IV / SERIES 70 " on top of breech, four finger collet bushing. Frame with "0" proofs on left and right side of trigger guard, Colt VP proof on trigger guard, weak. Serrated short trigger, magazine release, safety, hammer, arched mainspring housing. Checkered walnut grips with Colt medallion inset. Colt magazine. CONDITION: Very good used condition. Retains the vast majority of its blue with some marks from handling and operation, most noticeable area at left side of relief cut with some takedown marks. Some minor silvering at reciprocating areas. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with sharp well defined lands and grooves. EW
