Serrated slope front sight, square notch rear sight, "P" proof on top of slide. Barrel marked "F" on right side of lug, "P" on left side of lug. Serrated slide release, checkered magazine release, checkered let side only safety, spurless serrated hammer, long grip safety, serrated arched mainspring housing. "P" proof on left side of frame, FJA inspection mark, Ithaca "anvil" stamp on trigger guard, right side with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" and serial number, and "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY" and double struck "2" on trigger guard. Short checkered stamped trigger. Keyes grips. Two rivet magazine with "L" on lip of baseplate for Little. CONDITION: Very good, retaining the vast majority of its parkerized finish with some bumps are scratches silvering, including some high point wear. Takedown mark more aggressive than normally seen. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with excellent lands and grooves. Ordnance mark with attractive silvering in lines where it broke the park. EW
