Lot consists of: A) J. Stevens Arms and Tool Company large frame tip-up rifle with blued half round half octagon rifled barrel with plugged rear sight and blade front. Plated receiver with Vernier Windage Tang sight. Plain walnut stock and forend with nickel plated Swiss style butt. CONDITION: A) 80% original blue with some crazed oil over top. Frame retains 90% plating with some light freckling. Wood has added finish. Good bore and mechanics. B) J. Stevens Arms and Tool Company large frame tip-up rifle. Blued half round half octagon barrel with globe front sight and flip rear. Nickel plated receiver, triggerguard and buttplate. Walnut plain wood stock made without forend. CONDITION: B) Blue turning to a brown patina. Plating starting to flake on receiver and other nickeled parts. Wood has usage marks and dings with traces of original varnish. Good bore and mechanics.
