Colt Commercial Model 1911 semi-automatic pistol made in 1916. Blued slide with Colt patents and address with rampant Colt at rear on left side. "Colt Automatic Calibre 45" on right side of slide. Correct sights. Blued frame with "Government Model" above "C" prefix serial number. Frame has smooth backstrap with lanyard loop. Correct internal parts. Walnut diamond grips. Comes with two-tone clip and factory letter stating shipping date and shipping address. CONDITION: 50% blue turning to a plum patina on slide. Frame has 60% blue with scratches near slide stop. Spring guide has silicon bushing and barrel bushing is probably a replacement. Grips are original and slightly worn with noticeable checkering still visible. Good bore and mechanics. Clip possibly a replacement. DLM
