A) Winchester Model 1890, 24-inch octagon barrel, chambered in .22 short. British proof marks on barrel and receiver, right side of barrel also marked: "M.A. CO. / RIDGEFIELD. N.J." Plain, straight grain walnut stock with crescent, rifle style buttplate. Grooved walnut forearm. CONDITION: Excellent overall, with 93-95% original blue. Right side of frame has scattered areas of pitting. Wood is solid, showing moderate wear. Bore is excellent, with moderate abrasion. Action is sticky. B) Remington Model 12. 24-inch octagon barrel, chambered in .22 S,L,&LR. Plain, straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Crescent, rifle style buttplate. Tang mounted sight. CONDITION: Excellent overall with 95% original blue remaining. Wood has had a coat of varnish added, showing modest wear. Bore is bright, action is tight and crisp. -MKS-
