Model 1911A1 manufactured by Union Switch & Signal, Swissvale, Pennsylvania in 1943. Parkerized slide with "USS" and "U.S. & S. Co. Swissvale, PA. U.S.A." markings on left side of slide with "P" proof on top in front of rear sight. Correct sights. Correct hammer, safety catch, and slide stop. Parkerized frame with "RCD" in circle inspector's mark on left side of frame. Right side of frame has "United States Property", "M 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY", and serial number on right; no crossed cannons. Correct "HS" marked barrel with correct internal parts. Checkered plastic grips with "K" in star markings. Comes with "S" marked clip for Scovill Manufacturing. CONDITION: 70% fading original arsenal finish with handling and operating wear. Some slight spotting on slide. Correct parts. Clip fading to a silvery patina with no dents. Good bore and mechanics.
