S&W First Model No.3 American, serial number 3442. Chambered in .44 caliber American (.44 S&W). 8" barrel with fluted rib. Full radius, pinned front sight. "V" notch rear sight. Nickel with two piece pearl grips. CONDITION: Very good overall. 85% original nickel with scattered areas of freckling and scratches. Nickel is worn through to bright metal on barrel muzzle. Ejector does not operate properly. Grips show heavy wear with ragged edges. Barrel does not lock tight. Bore is good with moderate abrasion. -MKS-
