Colt Richards-Mason Conversion 1851 Navy Revolver. Serial number 62 matching on barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and cylinder. Barrel has been modified to 5 - 1/2 inches, with a replacement front sight. Full nickel with one piece ivory grips. Firing pin has been modified. CONDITION: Fine overall with 80-85% nickel remaining. Scattered flaking and light abrasions. Sizable dent on top right side of barrel. Strong cylinder scene. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is fine with moderate abrasion. Grips are fine showing moderate wear, however are not well fitted to the backstrap. -MKS-
