Ithaca Gun Company of Ithaca, New York manufactured Model 1911A1 semi-automatic pistol made in 1943. Correct parkerized finished slide marked "Ithaca Gun Co., Inc. Ithaca, N.Y." with "P" stamp in front of rear sight. Correct Ithaca contract marked parts with Flannery marked barrel. Ithaca safety catch and slide stop. Colt hammer. Parkerized frame with serial number falling into Ithaca range with "FJA" and "P" inspector marks with "Crossed Cannons", "United States Property" above serial number and "M1911A1 U.S. Army" in front. Remington Rand mainspring housing with lanyard loop. Correct "K" in five-pointed star marked plastic checkered grips. Comes with "R" for Risdon marked correct clip. CONDITION: 70% original arsenal parkerized finish with wear on corners. Spring guide has added silicon buffer. Clip in nice original condition. Good grips and mechanics. DLM
